Today we’re breaking out our fancy-dandy new Flower Grading System for its first spin around the block! We’ll kick things off with the Black Cherry Gelato we got for review from our friends at Peace in the Air in Washington DC. FYI this particular flower is available now if you want to get it, and you do want to get it, cuz this sexy strain scores a very respectable 3.2 Graded Point Average by this Gentleman’s measure. Wanna know more about how it works? You’re in luck, as I’ve documented my process for posterity, so generations to come may marvel at my magnificent brainworks while my foul shade discreetly jacks it into a potted plant in the corner. Gotta get in where you fit in, baby!
Black Cherry Gelato- 3.2 WPA
Distinct, but subtle blackberry aroma.
Same blackberry taste is detectable in the smoke.
No coughing whatsoever. You could give this weed to grandma.
Essential Grades PASSED!
Trichomes are small, but these dark buds are covered head to toe.
No resin detected.
No seeds found.
Stems were trimmed tight to the buds, even on the popcorn buds.
An eighth consisted of three medium-sized buds with nice curves, but the rest of the bag was rounded out by several popcorn buds.
Moisture level is perfect. Finger test cracked the other half of the stem right off and the bud sprang back quickly. Get these buds while they’re fresh, baby!
Perfect density. Easy to work with your fingers, if you so choose, but by no means loose. Grinds down to a smooth consistency.
OVERALL GRADED POINT AVERAGE: 3.2 (B)
